Tech-giant Facebook has reached an agreement with France and will now pay 106 million euros ($125 million) in taxes to the French government for its operations in the country since 2009. It has also agreed to pay 50 percent more tax in the current year. The agreement came as a resolution of a longstanding conflict between France and the United States.
