Facebook likely to be sued by more than 40 US states over antitrust violations

Several US states are investigating Facebook Incorporation for possible antitrust violations and more than 40 states including New York, are planning to file a lawsuit against the social media giant next week. If true, this will be the second major lawsuit filed against a tech giant after the Justice Department's lawsuit against Alphabet Incorporation's Google in October. Facebook has refrained from commenting on the matter.
