Coronavirus Outbreak: Google, Microsoft cancel tech summits in US

Google and Microsoft on Tuesday announced the cancellation of their upcoming US events amid the rising fears of the deadly Coronavirus that has claimed over 3000 lives across the world. Google's Cloud Next in San Francisco and Microsoft's MVP Summit in Seattle now stand cancelled and both companies have made those events 'digital-first'. Microsoft said it would refund attendees both the cost of tickets and hotel stays.
