China plans to build the world's 1st airport for autonomous-flying vehicles

China intends building the world's 1st airport for self-flying vehicles, the project is the brainchild of carmaker Ehang. Ehang plans to build it in the tourism-focused terminal in Hezhou & says the 3-story terminal will be spread across 2500 sq m, with 4 landing pads on the rooftop, to be used by autonomous vehicles. The company aims to open it by the end of 2020 & will also use 20 autonomous planes for aerial sightseeing.
