China has launched the 30th satellite yesterday to complete its own global navigation system BeiDou. The first phase of the program was launched in the 1990s and in 2015 the 3rd phase was launched. The last launch was postponed by a week for technical glitch. With this, China has now joined Russia’s GLONASS, US’ GPS and the EU’s Galileo. BeiDou will have a great social and economic influence, the authorities claimed.
