Beware! WhatsApp is not safe and can be traced: IIT professor to HC

IIT Chennai's professor informed the Madras HC that WhatsApp messages sent or received could easily be traced and it is possible to add an identification tag to the messages. Internet Freedom Foundation opposed the idea of linking Aadhar with all the accounts as it would restrict fundamental rights of over 600 million internet users from the country. This would be alarming as privacy, and free speech of internet users will be hampered.
