Apple Inc has removed the app used by the Hong Kong protestors to track the police movements on Wednesday. Apple said that the app violated its rules because it was used to ambush police and by criminals who used it to victimize residents in areas with no law enforcement. The decision came after the Chinese Communist Party's official newspaper, the People's Daily had called the app "poisonous" on Tuesday.
