Apple acquired Italian startup Stamplay for 5 million Euro

According to media reports, Apple has acquired Italian application programming interface integration developer Stamplay for $5.678 million. Even though it is unclear why Apple has purchased Stamplay, but the startup has experience in the financial industry where Apple made an entry with Apple pay and is planning to expand it more with a self branded credit card. Apple is yet to announce the acquisition officially.
