Amazon's Alexa can now imitate human emotions

Expanding the voice range Amazon is making Alexa a bit more human. The voice assistant will now add intonations to some of your statements, expressing feelings such as disappointment or excitement. Amazon announced the latest features through a blog post for developers working on apps for Alexa. Amazon says Alexa could sound "excited" when a user wins a trivia game, or "sad" when your favorite sports team loses.
