Altair includes India's microprocessor 'Shakti' in its offerings

Shakti processors are high-performance industrial processors designed for embedded applications and robotic controls. Altair Embed expands its footprint in building embedded firmware for internet-connected products by supporting Shakti processors. "We anticipate a considerable rise in Shakti usage as a result of this partnership," said Professor V Kamakoti of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering.
