According to Oxford University, India among 70 nations hiring 'cyber troops'

India is among 70 nations where political parties and government agencies have employed “cyber troops” for social media manipulation, according to a recent study by Oxford University. The study looks at the organizational capacities of these troops and it has found that India’s cyber troops were of ‘medium capacity’. The report also claims that Sri Lankan cyber troops had received formal training in India.
