Researchers from Tulane University and NOAA discover an American pocket shark in the Gulf of Mexico as per a study published in the Zootaxa journal. It is only the second pocket shark ever captured or reported. The tiny shark is only 5 and a half inches long and can glow in the dark; a first of its species. The pocket shark species has 2 small pockets that secrete a glowing fluid, that helps them attract prey.
