2G data services to be revived throughout Jammu & Kashmir

Jammu and Kashmir administration declared that it would revive its mobile data services for the whole union territory starting on January 25. Broadband access through fixed line will be permitted as per previous orders, which includes institutions that provide essential services (hospitals) and travel establishments (hotels etc). Network connectivity will still be restricted to government-approved whitelisted websites.
