Startup hiring-focussed platform Hirect Fires 40% workforce amid org restructuring

Amid a season of layoffs, another startup has fallen to the dark side. Bengaluru and US-based hiring platform (specifically focussed on startup jobs) Hirect has reportedly laid off 40% (around 200) of its employees. According to a Mint report, the startup has termed the move as a part of organisational restructuring and a strategic change in its business model.
