HDFC plans to invest $14 million in Tech startup every year

Mortgage finance company HDFC is planning to invest up to Rs 100 crore per year in tech startups to strengthen the Indian startup ecosystem. Even though the board was initially a little hesitant in backing the idea of investing in startups, they feel that the tide will change, and the future of tech space is bright. HDFC has also been involved in startups in the field of Fintech solutions and emerging technologies.
