BYJU’S Becomes India’s Most Valued Startup; Raises $340 Mn At $16.5 Bn Valuation

Bengaluru-based edtech giant BYJU’S has now become the highest-valued Indian startup, pushing back digital payments giant Paytm, after raising INR 2,500 Cr (about $340 Mn) at a towering valuation of $16.5 Bn. The funding round which saw BYJU’s valuation break new records was led by investors, according to reports. Including the current round, BYJU’S has raised more than $2.3 Bn in equity financing to date.
