With South Africa series looming, BCCI unlikely to take rushed decision on Virat Kohli: Report

Ganguly said that he had personally asked the Virat to not step down from captaincy in the T20 format. Virat was clear cut in saying that he was never asked “not to quit T20 captaincy”. As per reports, the BCCI wasn’t happy with proceedings. However, the board is also aware that any strong reaction could hamper the morale of the Indian team before the three-match Test series against South Africa, starting December 26.
