Team India defeated West Indies 3-0 in the ODI series and demonstrated their dominance. No other Indian side, no matter how dominant, had ever been able to accomplish this unusual achievement, but the Shikhar Dhawan-led side thrashed West Indies in their own backyard and scripted history. India scripted a record by defeating West Indies 3-0 in the ODI series at the latter's home soil, for the first time in the history.
