Shakib Al Hasan, Asif Ali, David Wiese nominated by ICC for October Men's Player of the Month award

Bangladesh star Shakib Al Hasan, Pakistan finisher Asif Ali and Namibia all-rounder David Wiese have all been nominated by ICC for their Player of the Month award for October. All three had been in terrific form in the 2021 T20 World Cup in October. Shakib Al Hasan was among the top run-scorers as well as top wicket-takers in the World Cup, at one point leading both charts, before an injury ruled him out for the rest of the event.
