Top shuttler Saina Nehwal made it to the singles 2nd round of the Barcelona Spain Masters with a 21-16 21-14 win over Germany’s Yvonne Li on in a 35-minute encounter. Pranaav Jerry Chopra and Sikki N Reddy also won their mixed doubles first round match against Denmark’s Mathias Christiansen and Alexandra Boje. However, H S Prannoy was beaten by Malaysia’s Daren Liew 18-21 15-21 to end his campaign at the tournament.
