Mujeeb Ur Rahman becomes first batter in cricket history to be dismissed hit-wicket in consecutive innings

Mujeeb Ur Rahman scripted a bit of an unwanted record for himself when he was out hit-wicket during the Bangladesh vs Afghanistan match in Asia Cup 2023 on Sunday, September 3. The Afghanistan spinner hit a six off Taskin Ahmed's bowling but later, the players realised that he had disturbed his stumps with his feet. Earlier, the spinner had been dismissed in a similar manner while batting in the 3rd ODI between Pakistan vs Afghanistan earlier.
