Linthoi Chanambam wins gold medal at World Judo U-18 Championships, becomes first Indian to achieve the feat

Linthoi Chanambam won gold medal at the World Cadet Judo Championships on August 26. She became the first ever Indian to win top honours at the global event. The 15-year-old from Manipur took a 1-0 win against Bianca Reis to complete top podium finish. I really don't have the words and cannot explain how I am feeling right now. I only know that I'm very happy with this victory, and I hope to build on this, said Chanambam.
