ICC's new World Test Championship to be played over a two year period

As a part of ICC's Future Tours Programme, nine teams will compete for World Test Championship that will be played between July 15, 2019 to April 30, 2021. The new 'meaningful' test championship with a 'possibility of a global title at the end' will include six series on a home & away basis and a deciding final between two top-ranked sides. India will start against West Indies in July 2019 in the World Test Championship.
