Formula 1: Monaco GP canceled due to coronavirus

Monaco Formula One Grand Prix, one of the iconic fixtures of F1 for 65 years, has been canceled. It’s the latest event to fall prey to the novel coronavirus pandemic. The race, scheduled to be held in the Principality on May 24, was scrapped while the Netherlands and Spain GP were postponed. It will be the first time since 1954 there will be no Monaco GP which Hamilton won in 2019 on his way to a 6th world title.
