FIFA postpones U-17 Women’s World Cup in India

FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup scheduled to be held in India in November has been postponed due to the huge health risk caused by the deadly COVID-19 pandemic. The women's age group showpiece event was supposed to be held at five venues across the country from November 2-21. The U-20 Women's World Cup Panama/Costa Rica 2020 - originally scheduled for August/September this year has also been postponed due to the outbreak.
