Roger Federer will compete at next year’s Tokyo Olympics for the men’s singles gold medal. The Swiss maestro has won all four of the Grand Slam events, plus the ATP Tour Finals 6 times, but is yet to win Olympic singles gold. The 20-time Grand Slam champion had won a doubles gold with fellow Swiss Stan Wawrinka in Beijing in 2008, but in the London singles final in 2012 he was thrashed 6-2, 6-1, 6-4 by Andy Murray.
