Athletics Integrity Unit has suspended Kenya’s former world half marathon record holder Abraham Kiptum for four years due to an anti-doping violation. The AIU had provisionally banned the 30-year-old on April 26. The passport carries out blood tests to check doping instances instead of testing specific substances. Kiptum’s 4-year ban starts from that date and all his results dating back to October 13, 2018.
