Cricket prize money parity for Australian women’s T20 team

Cricket Australia will increase the prize money for the Aussie women’s team for the T20 World Cup to make sure parity with the men’s prize. ICC has announced a 320% boost in prize money for 2020 women’s event. The winners will pocket $1 million while the runners up taking $500,000. Cricket Australia will top up an extra share for equal prize money for the men’s event with an extra $600,000 for a win in the finals.
