COVID-19: Chinese football star Wu Lei gets infected in Spain

Chinese football star Wu Lei, who plays for Espanyol in Spain’s La Liga, has now been tested positive for the coronavirus. He has mild symptoms and is currently undergoing treatment in Spain. The 28-year-old striker is in self-isolation at his home in Barcelona. Wu is the only Chinese footballer playing in one of Europe’s top five leagues, having arrived at Espanyol from Shanghai SIPG in January last year.
