Footballer Cristiano Ronaldo, on January 29, 2020 (Wednesday) became the first person ever to reach 200 million followers on Instagram. The footballer had overtaken Selena Gomez in October 2018 to become the most followed person on Instagram. He is at the second spot in the most followed list, followed by Instagram itself that has 330 million followers. Behind Ronaldo is singer Ariana Grande with 173 million followers.
