Cheteshwar Pujara, Ajinkya Rahane dropped for Tests against Sri Lanka

Cheteshwar Pujara and Ajinkya Rahane have been dropped from the Test squad for the two-match series against Sri Lanka. Both Rahane and Pujara were in battling poor form in Tests and as a result have been shown the door. Senior wicket-keeper Wriddhiman Saha and experienced pacer Ishant Sharma were also left out of the Tests as the All India senior selection committee named squads for the Sri Lanka series.
