Canada women’s football’s star striker Christine Sinclair broke the goalscoring record in both men's and women's international football. She surpassed retired American Abby Wambach to reach 185 goals after hitting twice as Canada beat St Kitts & Nevis 11-0 in a 2020 Olympics qualifier. The highest goalscorer in men's international football is Iran's Ali Daei on 109 goals. Sinclair made her international debut at 16.
