Toxic air pollution from bushfires forced stopped practice sessions on Tuesday ahead of the Australian Open in Melbourne. Alexander Zverev and David Goffin were supposed to take the Melbourne Park courts first, followed by Rafael Nadal. Further decisions will be taken using onsite data and consulting with the medical team and the Bureau of Meteorology. Bushfires across Australia’s east have been burning for months.
