BCCI's ACU chief Ajit Sigh Shekhawat has suggested a match-fixing law to practice restraint against corruption. Shekhawat also suggested legalizing betting to curb corruption. This suggestion came after 12 players of national and international levels reported about being contacted by corrupt external agents during the TNPL. "Legalizing betting can be another way to contain corruption," Shekhawat Stated.
