Australia, New Zealand look to India’s nod for Day/Night Tests

Test matches in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Adelaide usually start at 5.30 am India time while a Test in Perth goes for a 7.30 IST start. Meanwhile, New Zealand is seven and a half hours ahead of India. So Indian viewers need to wake up in the wee hours to catch the match from the first ball. This could change if BCCI agrees to play its first overseas day-night Test in Australia when India tours at the year-end.
