Veteran Sri Lanka all-rounder Angelo Mathews recently scripted an unwanted record, becoming the first-ever player to be dismissed in international cricket through timed out. The incident happened during Sri Lanka’s clash against Bangladesh. Notably, he was declared out by the umpire in such a way following Bangladesh captain Shakib Al Hasan appealing for the time out. Mathews reached the crease after Sadeera Samarawickrama's dismissal.
