Andy Murray ruled out of Australian Open

Andy Murray has confirmed he has no other choice but to skip next month’s Australian Open due to a persistent injury after missing the first Grand Slam of the new year with a pelvic injury as well. The 32-year-old Scot sustained the injury playing for Great Britain in the Davis Cup last month. Murray had hoped to make his return to Grand Slam arena in Melbourne after a successful hip operation in January.
