What are the new income tax slabs under the new tax regime?

Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman on Wednesday presented the Union Budget 2023-24 in Parliament and announced a slew of changes in the new income tax regime introduced in 2020. New Regime has been made the default one with the following tax rates: Rs. 0-3 lakh: Nil, Rs. 3-6 lakh: 5%, Rs. 6-9 lakh: 10%, Rs. 9-12 lakh: 15%, Rs. 12-15 lakh: 20% and Above Rs. 15 lakh: 30%
