US President says he was at ground zero day after 9-11 attacks, 'contradicting' his own book
US President Joe Biden misrepresented his attendance at Ground Zero, the day the Twin Towers in Manhattan fell, in an address to service troops and first responders on September 11, the anniversary of the 9-11 terrorist attacks. White House produced a picture and a newspaper story demonstrating that on September 20, 2001, Biden, who was then a senator for Delaware, visited Ground Zero. Biden said in a 2007 autobiography that he "headed back to the Capitol" on September 12, 2001.
