Violence erupted in UP`s Fazilnagar Assembly constituency on Tuesday when the convoy of SP candidate Swami Prasad Maurya was attacked by assailants during a roadshow. "Due to security reasons, I sat in a different car than mine while travelling for campaign in Kushinagar. BJP workers were sitting with sticks, stones and guns there. They attacked my car," Swami Prasad Maurya was quoted as saying by news agency ANI.
