Smriti Irani, Jyotiraditya Scindia given additional portfolios after Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi, RCP Singh resign

President Ram Nath Kovind on Wednesday accepted the resignations of Union Ministers Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi and RCP Singh. Meanwhile, Smriti Irani will be assigned the Ministry of Minority Affairs, in addition to her existing portfolio whereas Jyotiraditya Scindia will take charge of Ministry of Steel, in addition to his existing portfolio, reported news agency ANI.
