Shiv Sena leader Sudhir Suri shot dead in broad daylight outside a temple

In Punjab's Amritsar, shots were fired at Sudhir Suri, the leader of the Shiv Sena. Outside of a city temple, the incident happened. The moment Suri was shot, a member of the crowd had just entered the Shiv Sena leaders' demonstration outside the temple. After some broken idols were discovered in rubbish outside the temple grounds, Shiv Sena leaders protested the temple administration by conducting a sit-in.
