Chinese President Xi Jinping said while speaking at Beijing's Great Hall of the People that the reunification with Taiwan will definitely be fulfilled. "Taiwan independence separatism is the biggest obstacle to achieving the reunification of the motherland, and the most serious hidden danger to national rejuvenation," Jinping said. He added that the "historical task of the complete reunification of the motherland must be fulfilled".
