Madagascar's President Andry Rajoelina escaped an assassination attempt on Tuesday. President Andry Rajoelina was the target of an assassination attempt, according to the prosecutor general's office of Madagascar, which detained numerous "foreign and Malagasy" suspects. Paul Rafanoharana, a Franco-Malagasy, and Philippe Francois, a Frenchman, were among the foreigners seized, according to Radio France Internationale.
