Pentagon appoints Indian-American Kash Patel as Chief of Staff to Acting US Defence Secretary

Pentagon has announced that Indian-American Kashyap Pramod Patel who is popularly known as Kash Patel, has been appointed as the Chief of Staff to the Acting US Defence Secretary Chris Miller. Patel is currently on the National Security Council staff. The decision comes a day after outgoing US President Donald Trump fired Defence Secretary Mark Esper and appointed Chris Miller as the new Acting Secretary of Defence.
