Parkash Singh Badal, former Punjab CM, admitted to hospital; PM Modi wishes speedy recovery

Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) patriarch and former chief minister of Punjab Parkash Singh Badal has been admitted to a private hospital in Mohali, a party spokesperson informed on Sunday. The five-time Punjab CM was taken to the hospital on Saturday night after he vomited. His condition is stated to be stable now. Meanwhile, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has wished for a speedy recovery for Badal.
