Pakistan has decided not to lift its airspace ban for Indian flights till May 30, till the conclusion of Lok Sabha elections in India. Pak had closed its airspace fully after the Balakot airstrike & then reopened for all flights except New Delhi, Bangkok & Kuala Lumpur on March 27. Flights to India often pass directly over Pak. The govt will now consider uplifting the ban on Pakistan's airspace for Indian flights on May 30.
