National emblem row: Exact replica, says Centre after Opposition objects to 'muscular, aggressive lions'

The Centre on Tuesday asserted that the national emblem unveiled by Prime Minister Narendra Modi atop Parliament's new building was an exact replica of the one in Sarnath. Union Minister Hardeep Singh Puri said if the emblem in Sarnath was to be scaled up or the emblem on the new Parliament building was reduced to that size there would not be any difference.
