John Hinckley, the man who tried to kill US president Ronald Reagan 40 years ago, is likely to be released from prison in June next year. The 66-year-old was found not guilty on grounds of insanity of shooting Reagan and three other men outside a Washington hotel on March 30, 1981. Hinckley said he wanted to kill the former US President to impress the Taxi Driver fame actress Jodie Foster, whom he was obsessed with.
