Joe Biden said India should have a permanent seat at UNSC: Foreign Secretary

India's foreign secretary Harsh Vardhan Shringla briefed the media in Washington after PM Modi's meeting with the leaders of US, Japan and Australia at the QUAD summit. "President Biden stated unequivocally that India should have a permanent seat on the United Nations Security Council, and he emphasised the significance of the defence alliance," the foreign secretary said. Biden also accepted PM Modi's invitation to visit India.
